FATAL PLUNGE OF CAR

DROP OF 250 FEET FROM ROAD,

TWO OCCUPANTS KILLED.

(By Tekgraph—Press Association.) NAPIER, Jan. 2.

Two men, believed to bo brothers named Osborne, Palmerston North, fell 250 feet from the Napier-Wairoa road at Devil’s Elbow to-night. The car was coming from Wairoa on the -wrong side of the road when it met a service car going down in the opposite direction. The Osbornes’ car swerved sharply to gain the correct side of the road, just grazed the service car and went over the side of the road and down a very steep bank. The bodies were brought to Napier late to-night.
