Ivarl V. Velkert, who flew to Nassau and returned on Tuesday in a relief ’plane, brought back copies of a statement given by Mrs Miller for publication. Slib said in part: “I am most unhappy about myself. As an experienced flier I feel ashamed to think I failed to reach my objective. Those who suggested I might do so for publicity purposes arc despicable. I hope my reputation as a sportswoman is good enough to refute such a thought.”
