A number of Communists, convicted of taking part in an illegal procession in Sydney on November 7, had fines imposed on them varying from £1 to £3. Each decided to go to gaol. Some will join the hunger strikers already there. Insults were hurled at the magistrate: and the State. The Communists arrested in connection with the recent parliamentary disorders have not yet been dealt with. A motor lorry travelling rapidly through the city to-day bore several Communists with a red flag, hut the police made no attempt to stopi it.
