SALAMAN’S PUNISHMENT
PATIENTS REQUEST RELEASE. A WOODYJ LLE RESOLUTION. (By Telegraph—Press Association.) WOODVILLE, Nov. 28. Ai meeting of those interested in the case of Abraham Salaman was called for the Borough Council Chambers last evening, hut was so largely attended that it was found necessary to take the Alexander Hall to accomodate those who claimed to have been cured or benefited by Salaman’s treatment. The chair was occupied' by Mr. J. G. Brechin. of Pahiatua. Several well-known settlers spoke of the splendid results attending the treatment they had received at the hands of Salaman and the following resolution, to be .forwarded to the acting-Prime Minister!, was carried unanimously; “That this meeting of those cured from illness, also those obtaining benefits from treatment bv Salaman, pray the acting-Prime Minister at once to use his great influence with Cabinet to secure the immediate release of Salaman from gaol; that this request is made in the interests of those patients who are under the care of Salaman and are receiving the utmost benefit from his treatment.”
