A. grim little story is- told of a. oock--1 party which may or may not serve as a warning to other addicts of the pleasant vice. A Londoner was testing n new concoction when the point of a cherry stick entered lvis eye. He rushed to a doctor, but every attempt to save his sight failed and! the eye was removed.
