HERBALIST REMANDED

NEW PLYMOUTH, Sept. 13.

In the Magistrate’s Court this morning Abraham Wally Mahomed Salaman was remanded till September 29 on a charge of manslaughter and other summary offences. His counsel, Mr A. A. Bennett, protested against unfair police methods when accused was brought before a Justice on Friday in connection with the fixing of bail; also unfair Press comment in the report of his arrest.
