SCHOOL COMMITTEE

At a meeting of the Normanby School committee, held last night, there were I' resent: Messrs. A. E. Spratt (chan), T. Evans H. Somers, T. Pickering, P. Linn and E. T. Peach (secretary). The headmaster (Mr. W. Davidson) reported that the roll number was 1*24, the average attendance for the' past term being 115.6, or 92 per cent, of the. total. Inspection of the school took place on August 8. , , , Unanimus support was accorded the i Taranaki Education Board’s .resolution protesting against any attempt to* dive, t the Op aka u reserve fund from 1aIt was decided to continue providing o cocoa to all pupils until October 1, and the installation of two drinking c ntains (bubbling system) is to be ot -oile ! with immediately Messrs. P. Linn. W. Palmer W. Hair. Galloway and Mtdlholland. O. L. Kasper. A. H.
