DEPUTATION TO MINISTER

(By Telegraph—Press Association.) WELLINGTON, Sept. 4. Al deputation from the Mothers’ Health Society waited on the Health Minister to-day requesting thy restoration of the £l5O subsidy which, as a measure of economy, had not appeared in this year’s estimates. The Minister regretted having to discontinue the subsidy. He said, however, that he would bring the matter up in Cabinet and concluded by offering to subscribe £lO himself if other subscribers of a. similar amount could be found to make up the £l5O.
