The civil disobedience movement will result in a grave financial position in the Bombay Presidency in the coming year, says an official communique, which points out that the Budget estimates for the current year, which contemplated a surplus of £7500, have been converted into a deficit of £937.500. In the northern part of the presidency, where the civil disobedience movement against the payment ot land revenue was first organised, £41,250 is unpaid.
