Those will he held over the 10,00;) metres course at Lower Haft, one of the finest in the country. 'Hie teams for the championships have been selected and prominent among them sire R. A. Rose (Wanganiii-Tnrauaki), P. 11. Francis, former English champion with a high reputation, and A. L. Stevens (Wellj nsiton). who has .registered line performances this season. J. \V. Savitlan (Auckland), who won the New Zealand championship three years in succession. will lie a notable absentee, as he is in Canada with the Empire Games team. Wellington holds the teams championship and will be represented by the following team: A. L. Stevens (Scottish), P. H. Francis, A. Barclay (Brooklyn), C. McCarthy (Hutt Valley), L. Watson (Wellington), L. Sinclair (Scottish). Emergencies: J. Shepperd (Wellington) and E. B. Silver (Scottish).
