“ ‘ The Princess of Poppyland, ” a fanciful operetta in three- acts, was very well staged at Mnnafa ore Tuesday evening by the Kaponga Operatic feoeietv. There was a very fair attendance, which thoroughly appreciated the efforts Of the individual characters, and 1 the scenery was artistically arranged and reflected great credit on these ini charge. 'The orchestra was well worthy of special mention. The operetta’s presentation! reflected 'credit on the producer. The 'vocal items and choruses were without a doubt bea>utifullv rendered. The stage manager. Air K. Williams, and the musical directors, Messrs O. E. Oliamptaloup and H. A. Gallagher, are to he commended on their fine efforts. Ati* J. A.
