ATTITUDE OF CANADIAN PREMIER (United Press Association—By Electric Telegraph Copyright). OTTAWA, July 26. 'The Premier, Mr W. L. Mackenzie King, in an election campaign speech, after outlining the issues, said: “We have made 'it. our purpose' to lift your eyes to the great mountain peaks oif in tor-Empire trade and competition, upon; which at this juncture the future of the Dominion! s o largely depends.” Mr King urged support for Liberal •candidates by the 'electorate; that would give a message to the British Isles and other Dominions that 'Canada gives its approval in no uncertain ternfs to the policy of an ever-expanding trade within the 'British Empire.
