T’ne funeral of the Into Mr Arthur Scott Lovings, at Mannia yersterda-y, was largely attended, aid parts of the district being represented by settlers and friends, by whom the deceased was held l in high esteem. Over f>o ears were included in the cortege. An impress sive service was conducted at the residence of deceasedV> mother at 1 p.m. by Rev. R.. Millar. who also- officiated at the graveside. The pall-bearers were Messrs A. J. Hughes. A. Kruse, Roy Guv. W. Lil'lev. O. Ta.it aivcl G. Scott. The many friends of Mr Bruce Henson will regret to learn that he is dangerously ill as the result of a chill following a- recent minor operation.
