Gan,an Grant Cowen: administered the eeremonia.l rites, 'and Mr .T. ‘II. Ehrlpott officiated at the grand organ. Ihe bride, was handsomely dressed m a shell pink chi nolle tight fitting bodice early Victorian style, With skirt of shell pink georgette dipping gradually towards the back, which allowed tlic frock to almic-st touch the floor. The skirt Was formed of six full petals, each finished with a border of dainty silk net, edged- with .satin ribbon. The bodice was completed (with tight' fitting chi well o sleeve: to elbow, tuen -full gc.oigott.G bell-shaped, finished with a' border of silk net. and satin’ ribbon, thus harmoaiii-sing with the -skirt, while shoes were to ■'t’o.nie. Her veil and, train of pale, pink not was held in p!iace bv a coronet of pink -orange blossom, ahd she carried. ia’ bouquet- 'of pale pink sweet pe'a and carnations, and maidenhair fern. .Misses K. New, .sister of the bridegroom, Joyce C'odd, cousin, of the (bride, and Thelma, NeWbo-ld were in attctnda.nie.'e -as respectively clhidf and assistant bridesmaids and were becomingly 'attired in frocks of lemon, powder blue, ancll lilac georgette, made with tight fitting bodice, land long peaked skirts-, finished with silk -tulle, ,tlieir head-dress being in tulle to- correspond with the frooks. They carried bouquets ini harmony with their frocks. Miss Joan Goolc, a. tiny tot of two years of age, daintily attired in: frock of ffainbow tulle in, Mammon y with ’the colour slcheme, made a wonderfully efficient flower girl. The ■bridegroom! w!a : s attended by .Mr D. Broomfield as 'best man and Messrs James and Whittaker Bicker-total as groomsmen, the bride being given away by Mr F. Sr Newbold on behalf of Mrs Clemoes.
A reception) Was held Qat-or at the Masonic Hall, Eden Terrace, where the guests were welcomed by the bride’s mother, who wore a- bl'a'ck georgette frock, and bl-aick «altih : .coait, (with, hart) to 'tone and carried -a -posie of violets and maidenhair fern. The usual toasts were honoured amid responded to, at the wedding breakfast table, after which a social and danloe brought to- a 'termination,' a verv Wa'ppy function. 'The bridels travelling outfit was a geranium red satin crepe frock and buff -coat with large Coney fur and cuffs, hat 'and shoes to match.
