HAWERA HORSE FAIR

GOOD REALISATIONS. Bright bidding was in evidence at the horse fair conducted at Tlawera yesterday by Messrs R. P. Morrissey and Co., and most of a. good entry of sound heavy horses realised good values. Milk carters, on account of Mr. M. Rowlands, Feikling, realised £25, £32 10s, £3l 10s and £33 respectively. Waggon horses, on account of the same vendor, brought £lB, £l7, £l9 and £22. A medium weight draught mare, sold on account of Mr. A. Hall, topped the market at £4O. Mr. M. Hickey, New Plymouth, received £26 10s and £36 for a, couple of milk carters. A waggon horse on account of Mr. S. £23. Another sold by Mr. M . Korri.sk was knocked down at £25. Hacks realised from £6 to £ll.
