POST AND TELEGRAPH OBJECTION.

WELLINGTON, July 25

According to a statement issued to the Press a meeting of the Wellington section of the Post and Telegraph Association carried a motion that in the opinion of the Wellington section of the association a controlling officer’s guild is unnecessary. Some 150 members was stated to have been present, including 50 controlling officers. An amendment that the forming of the guild w-as a matter for determination for those eligible for membership was defeated and the motion was carried by a large majority.
