The National Dairy Association conference was engaged yesterday m discussion of reconstruction proposals. Great interest is being evinced in the subiect of chqese quality, discussion of which is now set down for Thursday. It is understood, that cable advice from London and a deputation f)-’99J the Herd-testing Association, which will have special significance in rela tion to quality, will be forthcoming toW. M. Singleton (Director of the Dairy Division), who was to hawe spoken to-day, will now reserve his statement till Thursday. _ To-day will be devoted to remits and to addresses by experts, including Mr p. o. Veale and Professor W. Riddett.
