FAREWELL SOCIAL. (From Our Own Correspondent). .A most enjoyable afternoon was given by Mrs. Rush ton Jackson in honour of Mrs. L. E. Jackson, who is leaving the district. The afternoon was spent in progressive euchre, three ladies tying for the first prize, and) on cutting the cards it fell to Mrs. Boddie. the booby prize going to Mrs. Garrick. Alter .a dainty iMternodn tea had been served Mrs.' Boddie, on behalf of Ihe lady friends of Mrs. L. E. Jackson, presented her with a very handsome hand hag with the very best wishes of her M'angamingi friends.
