DONOVAN AND GRIME
RETURN BOUT AT HAW ERA POSTPONED FOR- A WEEK Owing to an attack of a severe cold which will interfere with the training operations of the Waitara boxer, Tommy Donovan, it has been necessary to postpone for a week his return bout at Haweija with the Australian, Billy Grime.
Advice -concerning Donovan’s indisposition was received last evening- by the Hawcra Boxing Association, which has arranged for the bout to take place at the Opera House to-day fortnight, Friday, June 13, instead of next Friday as formerly announced.
The box’ plan will now open on Saturday, June 7. 'When, the pair firs-t met at H-aiwera Donovan received the verdict on a foul in the 11th -of the scheduled 15 rounds bout. The return match was first arranged for May 16, but had to be postponed from that date until June 6 on account of an ankle injury sustained during training by the Australian. Proceeding from Wellington to bis home at Waitara, Donovan is expected to pass through Hawcra by this evening’s express.
