RIFLE SHOOTING

HAAVERA- MINIATURE CLUB. The second evening .shoot was held at the range last evening, when a fair number braved the elements and some very interesting shooting resulted. Only Button shoots were fired last night, and the committee is to meet on Thursday night, when the trophies will be allotted. Next Tuesday the first trophy will be commenced. The men’s Button shoot resulted in a tie for first place, and in the shootoff the Button went to G. Harding. Following are the results: G. Harding 47. E. Booth 47, J. A’inten 4b, G. Gibson 46, L. Harding 45. Junior Button*.—A. Booth 45, J. Tapp 43, E. Turnbull 41. Team Buttons were also fired for, two teams competing. The results were: J. Ann ten (captain) 50, G. Harding 48, G. Gibson 48, J. Tapp 46; total 192. E. Bootli (captain) 47, Airs Rae 48. L. Harding 45. A. Booth 45; total 185.
