BRITAIN v. MANAWHENUA
TO-DAY’S GAME
CBv Telegraph—Press Association.) PALMERSTON N., May 27. The Rugby game. Britain versus Manawhenua, will he broadcast by 2ZF on 280 metres to-morrow. O. Galpin, forward support, was selected to-night to captain the home team, all the members' of which are fit. It is reported to he the strongest team since the amalgamation of the Manawatu and Horowhenua Unions. A record crowd is anticipated. The weatliere is clearing. Sohey, vice-captain of the British team, has gone to Wellington for treatment of his knee injury.
J. McD. Hodgson cut his eye while practising this morning and may be unable to play to-morrow.
