HAIRDRESSER FINED £25. ,1 (By Telegraph—Press Association.) AUCKLAND, May 17. Arrested this morning by Detective Nalder and Detective-Sergeant Me- 1 Hugh on a charge of keeping a common gaming-house, Henry John Ruston, aged 33, living at Parnell, was fined £25 at the Police Court this morniug. “He is a hairdresser hv occupation,” said Chief-Detective Hammond, “and lie takes this on as a side line.”. It was .stated Ruston took bets this morning to the value of £5 or £6. It was his first offence.
