On the eve of the first National Safety Week being held throughout Britain, the toll on the roads at the week-end avas one of the heaviest recorded. The fatalities include a husband and his wife, their three-year-old son and the wife’s mother. All were killed when itheir ear skidded and collided with an empty bus near Wakefield. Another (rash occurred, at Wolverhampton. A father and mother wore killed and their two children injured when a motor cycle and sidecar overturned. • .
