Elgar (president) being in the chair. The report stated that harmonious working of members had brought about a. happy and «; prosperous season. The club had' entertained or -been entertain-, ed by the following teams: R.S.A., Symes’ Mill, Legion of Frontiei-smen and the Electric Light 00. So keen had been the shooting in these competitions. that it had been decided to give a miniature ©up to the highest scorer in the visiting team, and this had been won by Mr Barclay, of Synie’s team. In the Tisdall Gup competition the club gained tenth place, and in the Whitoombe and Cadwell Cup 17th place. The vice-president, Mr I Booth-, had won a prize in the Dominion I championships own start competition, j Congratulations were offered to the ’ ladies on their good performance. A team consisting of Mrs Rae, Misses. E. Rae, 'j. Rae, and K. Petersen being championships, while Misses T. Ingrain and E. Rlae scored places in the, Xew Zealand .ladies’ championships. Fine performances were put up by the club champions—Mrs F. Rae and Messrs L. Uttinger (senior) and G. Gill-, son (junior)—Mr Uttinger winning thrice iff succession. The teams championship was won by Air G. Harding’s team. Finance was handled well by the committee, and the result had to be considered satisfactory, as the expenses were very heavy. MacFarlane; armourer, Mr P. Petersen; committee, the president, vice-presidcnt-s, secretary, Miss J. Rae and Mr J. Vinten. It was resolved that the annual subscriptions be the same as previously, 1 and that the shooting night he Tuesday in each week, with the proviso that the committee may alter if they! thought lit. The opening night was fixed for Thursday, May 22. The New Zealand association forwarded a, copy of the amended rules for competitions. Provision was; made for supervisors from the club’s district provided no outside supervisors were available. The Xew Zealand association advised starting date for competitions as follow : Tisdall Cap, June 2-14; own start, June 2-14; championships, July 14.-26; Whitecombe and Caldwell Cup, August 25-September 26. A vote of thanks to 'the outgoing officers, to the Press and to the chair concluded the meeting.
