After three months’- dry weather, rain fell yesterday and during the night, but the fall was not of an appreciable quantity. At Waipori the lull was half of that in the city, where a quarter of an inch was recorded at the reservoir water sheets.^ At Waipori the mam dam is still falling steadily.
