Brigadier Bill ran well till the final obstacle on Thursday and, a repetition of the, forn< will find him handy at the finish of the Grandstand Steeplechase. Several appear to hold good prospects in the Empire Handicap, but High Faintin’, Admiral Drake and Suvermine are a trio worthy of consideration. For the'Farewell Hack, Ben Hur appeals most, but Brilliant Light and Tahoma may improve on Thursday’s showing. With seventeen good class sprinters engaged in the Winter - Oats hackers will want luck to find the winner. Laughing Prince, Just An. Idea and Moa, Bird are threo that- should command a following.
