SYDNEY, April 16, Approximately three inches of rain, amounting to a deluge, has fallen during the past 24 hours, swamping Rand wick racecourse and the RoyaL Show ground. It is still showery and the inclement weather is seriously affecting the show. It is feared it will spoil the race carnival opening on Saturday.
