REPLY TO CRITICISM. lUntted Press Association—By Electric Telegraph CoDvrigUt.) Received 12.15 p.m. to-day. CANBERRA, Feb. 15. Hon. J IT. Scullin, in referring to criticism from London of the new Australian tariff duties, said that the comment seemed to be based on a misunderstanding of the Government’s protection policy.
