NEGLIGENCE ALLEGED
THE WAR RIM 00 DERAILMENT * OFFICIALS SENT FOR TRIAL (United Presa Association —By Electric Telegraph Copyright.) SYDNEY, Feb. 14. The coroner is inquiry into the railway a’eeident at Warrimoo on January 27, when a driver and fireman were killed, has been concluded. The evidence showed that tihe accident was due to the l-axity of certain officials who left the lock off the catch points, causing the derailment. The coroner found that Pilotman Robert Hindmarsih and Flagman Alexander Gollen were guilty of culpable negligence and committed for trial. Bail uias fixed at £SO.
Thomas Berkley, signalman at Blaxlan, was severely censured. Hindma.rsh was described as a man totally unfitted to be a pilotman. Hardly one of his duties had not been broken.
