WORLD-WIDE MOVEMENT. Speaking in Wellington Koine day« ago on the subject of tiie “world census in farming “to be taken in the near future, the Minister of Internal Affairs, said that the census would be organised by the agricultural institute at Rome in conjunction with the League of Nations. They had arranged for every country with organised Government to take part in the census, I which among other matters, dealt j with .statistics of all the produce of the land, the uses to which the land was put, animal population, etc. The census was now commencing, and in New Zealand it was coinciding with the annual agricultural and pastoral collection.

The statistics would later be published in a special year book.
