A San Diego, report states that without previous ex>perience of motwiilesis flying. Lindbergh took off in a glider and flew half a mils over the ocean. He attained an altitude of 500 feet and remained aloft for half an horir. Oil bis retum.be was awarded a first-class glider license, being the ninth, in the United! States.
