The informal meeting was cordial and is described as a. happy augury oi the spirit of the conference. The first real ceremonial! will be at Buckingham Palace this afternoon, when all delegates will be personally presented to His Majesty the King. When the King opens the conference to-momv his speech will be brief and ail will remain standing during its de.ivoiv, after which His Majesty will retire. Heads of the other delegations will sneak in turn.
