OPUNAKE SURFERS’ SUCCESS
DUAL WIN ACHIEVED. CONTESTS AT WANGANUI. Representatives of the Opunake Surf Club made a fine showing on Sunday afternoon at Castlecliff beach, Wanganui, where they competed with teams from the Castlecliff and Patea Clubs in a .rescue event, and a march past. Both competitions were won by Opunake, whose surf work was conspicuously good. The Patea team, which has only been organised this season, performed very creditably.
