OFFENDERS FINED". A fine of £2 was imposed upon Kuratau Wliaremati, who did not appear, when charged in the Hawera Magistrate’s Court this inorniiig with a breach of her current "prohibition order. For a similar offence John Hunt, husband of the previous defendant, pleaded guilty and was filled £5. “I want to break you of your liabit and will fine you heavily,” said the magistrate (Mr. J. H. Salmon). “The next appearance will mean the maximum penalty.”
