CORDIAL Invitation is extended to the women of Hawera and the surrounding districts to attend a public meeting to be held in the Borough Council Chambers, Hawera, TO-MOR-ROW AFTERNOON (January 16th, 1930), commencing a:t 2.30 o’clock. The Secretary (Dr. Doris Gordon), of the Obstetrical Society (N.Z.) will give an important address and will talk on matters appertaining to maternal welfare. All interested are welcome to attend, and it is desired particularly that the leaders and members of the following women’s organisations in Hawera should be represented: Plunket Society, W.N.R., Ladies’ Club, W.C.T.U. and the
