RAIN PREVENTS PLAY. (Bv Telegraph—Press Association.) GISBORNE, Jan. 13. The Canadian bowlers’ visit-to Gisborne was mat-rod by wet weather, which prevented play on Saturday. During the afternoon the team was officially received by the Mayor and entertained at the Gisborne Bowling Club’s greon, also in- visits to homes and -a tour of the country. The team left for Napier this morning.
