FLOUR MILL RUINED

Elmir milts a.t Cast, owned, by the Vortli Canter bur v A 1 Company, were destroyed by, lire last evening, nothing being left of either the machinery, the mill or the grain store. Seven thousand sacks of grain were lost and the damage is estimated at £20,000. Tlhe outbreak occurred at 11 ,p.m. The foreman says that he left the building at 10.40 . p.m. and within 15 minutes lie saw from liis house that the mil'll was in flames. No brigade was available. The building was remodelled a, few years ago and the ipliamt was very up to date. The machinery, buildings and grain are all insured.
