Hugh Robinson, when driving a butcher’s motor van, ran into a goods train near jYlatarawa station shortly after noon. Ho was killed outright and the vail was smashed to matchwood .
GIRL SERIOUSLY HURT
WELLINGTON, Jan. 8
A car driven by John Minchin, of Lower Hutt, with his wife and young daughter, accompanying him, had a collision with a train at the entrance of tlie new railway workshops. Lower T-Tutt. The daughter sustained severe injuries to her left leg. besides -suffering -shock, head injuries and concussion.
