Father Christinas (Mrs. Edwards) was kept busy distributing gilts and toys from a heavily-laden Xmas tree to the many children present. All the ministers of the different denominations were m attendance. Tl io Rev. Solomon and Mr. Wills, superintendent ot the Sunday school, thanked Mr. and Airs. F. T. Le Fleming in their hospitality and for having thrown open tlieir grounds for the afternoon s function. Mr. Le Fleming suitably replied. A dainty afternoon tea was servedAmong the guests present were Airs. Fraser sent 1 ., Alesdames H. A. Nicholls, Burns, Martino, Solomon, Miller Dudley Whitcombe, Lawrie, and Miss Wills. . . Alisses Fanny and Nurse Le Fleming spent a few days at Whakamara with Mr. and Mrs H. Le Fleming.
