HOPES FOR AN EARLY TOUR. “I am glad to say I am well on the road to complete recovery and soon I hope to be able to travel New Zealand to shake the hands of my many friends, ’ ’ said the Prime Minister (Right Hon. Sir Joseph Ward) last night in the course of a New Year’s message broadcast from his Heretaunga residence by 2YA Wellington. ‘ 4 I want to thank the pepole of New Zealand for their sympathy and kindness to me during my illness,” added Sir Joseph. “Inquiries have been made • from all parts of New Zealand and from friends in all political parties, so that I, as Prime Minister, do not consider I represent one party but that I represent the people of New Zealand as a whole. ’ ’
