EXPORTS TO AUSTRALIA. (United rre-ss Association —By Electric Telegraph Copyright..) WASHINGTON, Jan. 1. The United States Chamber of Commerce, in an analysis of the American foreign trade for the first nine months of 1929, sayis : “Exports to Australia, our seventh best customer, totalled 115,139,000 dollars, 11.33 per cent, larger than for the similar period in 1928. This in part is itsc-ribable to heavy purchase® of motor lorries and] petroleum products. New Zealand import® of United States products increased by 2,867,000 dollars, or 10.6 per cent.”
