EKLUND BEATS .TOILANNSON. (By Telegraph—Press Association.) . CHRISTCHURCH, Nov. 15. By winning five rounds out of eight, -Clarence Eklund, light-heavyweight wrestling champion of the. world, beat. Walter' Johannsou, light-heavyweight champion -of Finland, in an eight round contest to-night. The contest was a clean display of clever wrestling. Eklund, while not so strong as -the big Finn, was much craftier, but the Finn was nevertheless a stout opponent, demanding all Eklund’s skill.' Eklund secured a submission fall in the sixth round, and Johannson a fall in. the eighth.
