ELECTION OF OFFICIALS. (By Telegraph—Press Association.) AUCKLAND, Oct. 14. The following- committees and officials were elected at the New Zealand Baptist conference: Union executive president, the Rev. Joseph W. Keinp, Auckland; secretary and treasurer, the Rev. W. M. P. Lascelles, Wellington; principal of college, the Rev. J. J. North, Auckland; secretary of 'Auckland auxiliary, the Rev. J. Hiddleston, Milford; secretary of central auxiliary, Mr E. Necs; secretary of the Canterbury auxiliary, the Rev. A. E. Stuart; secretary of the Otago auxiliary, Mr C. J. Daraeott; president of the Y.M.8.-C. Union, 'Mr W. A. Craig, Auckland; chairman of the college •committee, Mr F. N. Andrews, Auckland; secretary of the young people’s department, the Rev. L. B. Busfield, Auckland; elected members, Messrs S. Barry and W. K. Newton (Auckland), the Revs. F. E.. Harry and F. W.'llorner (Central), J.! Robertson and E. T. Jones (Canterbury), C. .S. Tuckwell and C. Beckingsale (Otago); public questions committee, the Revs. 11. Knowles Ivempt’on, A. W. Stuart and L. B. Busfield and Mr H. 11. Driver; editor of “The Baptist,” Dr. J. J. North; assistant editor, the Rev. Stanley Jenkins; preacher of the 1930 union ’sermon, the Rev. E. N. Codring. The invitation of the Dunedin churches to hold the next conference at Dunedin was accepted.
