POINTS AGREED UPON. PARITY IN ALL CLASSES. CO-OPERATION WITH AMERICA: United Press Association—By Electric Telegraph Copyright.) (“Times” Cables.) LONDON, Sept. 4. A trustworthy authority lias disclosed, says the .Geneva correspondent of ‘ ‘ The Times, ” that among 17 points on which the lit. Hon. Ramsay MacDonald declared there was Anglo-American agreement arc the following:— The whole accord will be definitely linked in the Kellogg Peace Pact. Both countries will assume naval cooperation, not antagonism. Parity will apply to every class of vessel. Naval strength will be reduced —not merely limited. A progressive reduction over a period of years will be effected by non-replace-ment of obsolete vessels. The active life of all warships will be prolonged. The "yardstick” will be applied only to cruisers. The total tonnage of destroyers and submarines will be limited. .Small police cruisers will not be included in the naval strength. The unsettled points are believed to include the question of restricting battleships to a maximum tonnage smaller than that authorised by the Washington 'Conference; also the actual reduction of the cruiser tonnage of both countries and the maximum of the gun calibre.
