HAWES A LADIES’ CLUB. The two qualifying rounds for senior and junior championships played by members of the Ladies’ Club were completed last week-end. The scoring was in most cases much below the usual standard produced by those competing. This was no doubt chiefly due to. the very unfavourable weather conditions under which most of the' games were played. In the- case of the seniors they were qualifying for position in the draw only, as there is just the required number in that section. In the junior section there were 32, and the first 10 qualified. The draw for the senior championship is as follows: Miss E. Burgess v. Miss Lilian Pease, Miss Richardson v. Miss Dora Hawken, Mrs Mcßae v. Miss H. Burgess, Mrs Wake v. Mrs Little, Airs Dickie v. Aliss C. G. Richardson, Airs Thomson v. Aliss G. Death. Aliss Knight v. Aliss Tui Gibson, Airs Wnlkley v. Airs Glasson. Draw for junior championship is: Airs AlcQuin v. Aliss D.
