LICENSING BENCH.
ADJOURNED ANNUAL MEETING. The adjourned annual meting of the Patea Licensing Committee was held in Hawerai tin's alt o moon, Mr. J. H. Salmon, S.M., presiding. Also on t.lie bench were Messrs. J. Gray, E. A. Paeoy, El. Dixon and C. J. Hawken.
Transfers of licenses were granted in the case ol the following hotels: Central (Patea). from W. R. Morse to D. Quicken den ; Ivakairamea. from R. D. Dunn to J. \\ . Bourke; Commercial (Patea), JO. M ideally to F. Ei. Hawkins. t The adjourned application of Mns. M. C. Gibson ior a. renewal] of the .Royal .Hotel (Haiwern) license wa,s adjourned for a further throe months to enable repairs to bo carried out in accordance with the requisitions of the Health Department.
