VANCOUVER, Aug. 28. “The British Government is ready to hold an economic conference in Canada with the Dominion,” the lit. Hon J. H. Thomas announced to-day in the course of an address to the Canadian Club at Montreal. He stated that he had conslilted with members of the. Canadian. Government and had made definite proposals, but added that first such matters should be discussed in Parliament.
