TEAMS LEVEL AT HALF-TIME,
The season’s fourth challenge game for the Ranfudly Shield took place- at Masterton to-day, when the holder®, Wairarap-a,, met. Canterbury. At halftime the score, was 5 points- all. Within toil minutes of the commencement of the- second spell points added by both sides made, the tally 12—8 in favour of Waira.raxia.
-Shortly after the- score w T as Wairarapa 17, Canterbury 8. The game wa-s still in progress when the “Star” went to press, hut no further score- had till then been registered.
