Airs Charles Revell (Te Ngutu Domain) has recovered from the serious illness from which she has suffered sufficiently to allay the immediate concern of her family and friends. Messrs G. Preeco and Alan Good, who a short time back left Hawera with the intention of taking a trip to Honolulu, returned at the week-end. All- Good contracted influenza at Suva, and the trip to Honolulu had to be abandoned. Passage was taken by the return mail boat to New Zealand, and the two companions arrived at their homes as stated.,
A resident of Hawera of over 50 years’ standing, passed away yesterday in the person of Airs Margaret Cecilia. King, relict of the late Mr E. King. Born at Ota.huhu SI years -\>;o, the deceased lady came to this distinct from Papatoetoe. her husband predeceasing heir a Jew years ago. Two sons and seven daughters are left to mourn her passing—'Airs Ocklie (Remii’pi'it), Mrs Inglobrestien (Gisborne). All's Pierce Boyne (Hawera). Airs O’Cbmior (Oninaru), Airs Sales (Haworn), Airs Hopkins (Alangamingi), Mrs Bates (Wn itaka.ru ru), and Messrs Joseph (Alatamatai district) and Dan (Wellington). There are three brothers in Australia, while there are 82 grandchildren, and 16 great-grandchildren.
