VEHICLES COLLIDE.

TWO MINISTERS INJURED. On Saturday afternoon a collision occurred at T-ariki between -a lorry carrying a team of footballers -from New Plymouth and at small two-seater caT -driven by Rev. B. Haines, travelling secretary fo-r the Methodist Bible Glass Union, who had with him as a passenger R,ov. Mr Bennie, Methodist minister at Inglewood, as a result of which the smaller vehicle was smashed .beyond- repair and the two. occupants received injuries. Both had to receive medical attention, and Mr Bennie, who -had gone through the windscreen, was- taken to -hospital, but was later able to proceed to his home. Air Haines had to have several stitches inserted in a leg.
